Design: Exterior and interior
The exterior design of the Toyota Corolla Hybrid taxi is sleek and elegant with a swooping roofline and estate body. There’s 16” silver metallic alloy wheels as standard on the Icon grade, with 17” and 18” alloys on the Design and Excel trims.
Inside the spacious interior, there’s five seats and storage areas throughout. Everyone can enjoy a comfortable journey whatever the weather with dual-zone climate control. Heated front seats also come as standard across all three trim levels.
Choose from a range of solid and metallic paint colours. Solid colours include Pure White, while metallic options include Decuma Grey, and Silver Metallic. As well as Eclipse Black, Obsidian Blue, and Juniper Blue.
There are also three pearlescent colour options – Platinum White, Sterling Silver, and Scarlet Flare.

Performance and drive
Two engine options are available on the Toyota Corolla taxi – a 1.8 litre or 2.0 litre, both petrol hybrids. Regardless of the engine you choose, you can expect a quiet, efficient, and responsive drive with seamless acceleration.
You can tailor your drive with three driving modes – Normal, Eco, and Power. With Normal, you can strike the perfect balance between power and efficiency. Drive efficiently and maximise your fuel economy with Eco mode. While Power increases acceleration, utilising the hybrid battery to enhance the petrol engine.
As standard, your taxi will default to Normal mode, but you can change the driving mode based on your needs.
Passenger and boot space
There’s plenty of room inside the Toyota Corolla estate taxi for both you and your passengers.
Benefit from up to 361 litres of boot space with the 1.8-litre petrol hybrid or 1,052 litres when the rear seats are folded down. The 2.0-litre petrol hybrid offers slightly less with 313 litres and 1,004 litres when the rear seats aren’t in use.
The flexible loading space also has an adjustable boot deck with two height settings. While the second row of seats offer a 60/40 split.
Reliability
You can be confident of a reliable drive with a Toyota Corolla Hybrid taxi. All new Toyota taxis are covered by 10 years/100,000 miles’ warranty. When you first purchase your new Corolla Hybrid, you’ll receive a three-year warranty.
Every time you service your taxi at an official Toyota centre, you’ll get an additional 12 months / 10,000 miles of coverage. This continues until your new Toyota taxi is 10 years old or reaches 100,000 miles.
Coverage also spans across rust, paint, and corrosion. Benefit from 12 years of unlimited mileage corrosion cover. In addition to a three-year unlimited mileage rust and paint warranty.
Safety
The Toyota Corolla taxi is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense. With a wide range of features, Over-The-Air software updates are also available.
Features include a Pre-Collision System and an Emergency Driving Stop System. Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, and Proactive Driving Assist, Deceleration Assist are also included.
