New Zealand’s Auckland Airport is the largest and busiest in the country, seeing over 15 million passengers on their travels each year.
With a standard rate of £2.99 per kilometre, the 21km journey from the airport to the city will cost you £62.85 in total.
8. London, United Kingdom
London is home to six bustling international airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, City Airport, and Southend.
Comprising the busiest airport network in the world with thousands of passengers travelling each day, taxis are a go-to method for transport to and from these airports.
If you’re traveling to or from one of these airports, you’ll be among hundreds and thousands of other passengers charged £2.96 per kilometre. Which will cost you a fair amount by the end of your journey.

Spain’s Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is the country’s largest and busiest airport. With a standard rate of £2.90 per kilometre, a ride to or from the airport is sure to cost you, so it’s a good idea to be prepared.
10. Moscow, Russia
In Moscow, there are three main international airports servicing the city - Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo. Vnukovo is the closest to the capital at 28km, followed by Sheremetyevo at 29km, and Domodedovo at 42km.
